Ahmadu Ribadu College donates classroom furniture to Govt. School Girei

Staff and students of Government Junior Secondary School Girei were filled with joy on Saturday 4th of July when Classroom and Library furniture were donated to them by the staff , management and students of Ahmadu Ribadu College Yola and Col. Isa Memorial School Yola.

The kind gesture was initiated y Master Tobi Okijide, a Serving Corps Member of the recipient school who saw the need for better furniture to be sought for the school in order for the library to become functional. He also solicited for a new borehole to be sunk closer to the students place of abode as the distance from the existing borehole was rather far.

Highlight of the event was the presentation of the Furniture as well as the presentation of a full scholarship to Master Philemon Ephraim from Ease future Academy who emerged as the best student in the recently held Common entrance examination within Girei Community.

Also present at the event were the Dan Galadima of Adamawa and other traditional title holders of Girei Community as well as a representative of the Adamawa State Government House and Education Authority.
