IGP SOLOMON ARASE COMMISSIONS HOUSING ESTATE FOR THE POLICE RANK AND FILE IN ADAMAWA STATE.



The Inspector General of Police Solomon Arase has appealed to the Adamawa State Government to assist in the reconstructing and renovating of a story building of the Jimeta Division of the Nigerian Police station recently destroyed by a bomb blast in Yola, Adamawa State.
The Police Boss made this appeal in Yola while commissioning 64 units of 2 bedroom apartments built for the Police rank and file personnel. The commissioning is part of effort at providing decent accommodation for active and retiring Policemen of the Inspectors, Sergeants and Corporals cadre.
Mr. Mohammed Ghazally the Adamawa State Commissioner of Police who represented the Inspector General of Police Solomon Arase says the accommodation is for both serving Police men and other members of the community.

The Adamawa State Governor, Sen. Mohammed Umaru Jibrilla represented the by the Head of Service Barrister Musa Kaibo in his remarks commend the foresight of the Inspector General of Police for introducing the housing scheme across the nation. The governor requested that more housing be made available for Police men serving in the Local Government areas of the state.
