PHOTOS: Adamawa State Governor Condoles Wives of soldiers killed by insurgents on Armed Forces Remembrance day 2016


The army remembrance day celebration in Adamawa was unique with the Governor Mohammed Jibrilla visiting the Graves of over 150 soldiers killed during Operations in the state.

After the laying of wreath by The Governor and Brigade Commander of the 23rd Armoured Brigade, Col. ABA Popoola, the Governor interacted with wives of the Dead soldiers where he promised to assist the widows.

Earlier in the day, a presentation of colours and laying of wreath by the state Governor, and representatives of service chiefs, Nigerian Legion and Emirate Council was done to commemorate the occasion at the Mahmud Ribadu Square Yola which was climaxed by the Traditional 21 gun salute.
