Adamawa Govt To Pay Civil Servants Outstanding Entitlements After Sallah
culled from premium times
Adamawa State Head of Civil Service, Barr. Musa Kaibo, has assured civil servants of getting their outstanding entitlements after Sallah festivities.
He stated this during a session with newsmen in Yola that governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla had assured him that all outstanding entitlements – including leave grants, promotion allowances and others sundry entitlements would be paid, as soon as possible.
Kaibo, who noted that the state government, so far, owed the civil servants about N1.6 billion, added that apart from the payment of the outstanding allowances, the state government had improved its relationship with the civil servants through training and retraining, such that, so far, about 8,000 workers had benefitted from the programme.
