Young CEO from AUN solves problem of long queues at ATM

The American University of Nigerians’ School of Business and Entrepreneurship (SBE) has once again recorded a milestone in its bid to usher in the new wave of global entrepreneurs from its campus. On February 24th the students celebrated the launch of “Genie Loans” , a business project created and managed by 15 SBE students from the ENT 201 class with the aim of aiding students and staff financially via soft loans in partnership with HR & Planning.

The CEO of Genie loans, Miss Karen Makanto said the reason for the idea was out of concern due to the long ques experienced by both staff and students at ATM’s at the end of the month. The solution was to create a payment system where interested AUN community members needing cash could request for it and receive cash payments with a very minimal percentage interest . No ques no hassle.
