Miss Tourism Adamawa offers scholarship to essay writing contest winner

Classic Couture in collaboration with the office of Miss Tourism organized the first edition of the Yola North Primary Schools Essay Competition Yesterday. The Competition which had 6 schools in participation was themed “My Culture, my Pride” .

According to the reigning Miss Tourism –Miss Rita Sanakana, the event was organized to motivate and nurture young minds across Public Schools In Yola North L.G. The essay competition provides a unique platform to encourage young leaders of tomorrow to showcase their expressions in writing, on a host of subjects related to nation building.  The idea of the competition has been very well received by the students and the teaching staff reflected by the overwhelming response from the Education Board of Yola North as well as the participating schools and students

Highlight of the event was an emotional Miss Tourism who decided to give a one year scholarship to the winner, Ayuba Dauda who came almost ill-prepared but emerged as the first place winner.
