There was a bomb scare Tuesday night at the Numan,Behind Old Prison Yard Makwada Road, as an unattended bag was believed to contain explosives.
According to witnesses.
Security operatives had apprehended some suspects who were believed to be terrorists and interrogated them thus leading to their disclosure of the location of the explosives at Numan. Military operatives and members of the anti-bomb squad were deployed from Yola to salvage the situation which they did successfully
Normalcy has been restored to the city of Numan, however residents are urged to stay vigilant and report any suspicious movement or individuals to the necessary authorities.
