Miss Adamawa 2016, Monica Myahwegi chose to commemorate her birthday at 3 different schools within the Jimeta metropolis namely; Government Girls Secondary School Yola (GGSS), Remi Educational Foundation Yola and Lutheran Junior Seminary, Mbamba . At the various schools she addressed the issues that affects the teenage child today; speaking on dreams, basic etiquette and abiding by the rules and regulation as wells believing in their dreams and God given talent.
There were over 6000 students as well as the administrative and academic staff in attendance for all speeches. Monica was thanked by the principals of the 3 schools who gave closing speeches.
She was accompanied by 4th Place Beauty Pageant contestant Gloria Fidelis and On Air Radio Personality Philips Living of 91.1 FM Gotel
