VICTIMS SUPPORT FUND FLAG OFF DISTRIBUTION OF EDUCATIONAL ITEMS IN ADAMAWA STATE

In line with the implementation of its mandate of supporting victims of insurgency and providing the enabling environment for accelerated recovery, The VICTIMS SUPPORT FUND (VSF) has launched its educational support programme targeting school children affected by insurgency in Adamawa state.

The education support will facilitate learning and provide access to education for school age children that are victims of the effects of activities of Boko Haram.
The team of the Victims Support Fund (VSF) led by professor Sunday Ochoche are in Mubi two primary school, Mubi – Adamawa state for the official flag off of the educational support programme.

About 7, 000 primary school children across three local governments’ areas of Mubi North, Mubi South and Hong will benefit from the materials. text Books in mathematics, English, basic science and social science were distributed. Other materials include 42, 000 exercise books, 14, 000 Biros, 14, 000 Pens and 7,000 pairs of sandals as well as text books for teachers were given to enhance teaching.
