Senator Abdulaziz Nyako, visited victims of villages at Koh, Dikka Jam, Demsare, Tabango under Girei local government where the devastating incident between herdsmen and farmers occurred. All four villages were burned down by herdsmen, with almost 74 people killed and many who have disappeared.
According to his official:
Senator Nyako is the first leader to visit the site since the incident happened, donating relief materials to the victims such as 100 bags of rice, 100 bags of beans and sleeping mats. He also spoke with victims and families and assured them of his support. As Senate Committee Chairman on Special Duties, he will do all within his power to ensure that the emergency response agencies that he oversees intervene on this issue.
