haku Wardifen, one of the 100 declared-wanted Boko Haram terrorists, has been captured by vigilant troops of the 23rd Brigade Special Battalion in Maiha, Adamawa State.

Acting Nigerian Army Director of Public Relations Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman said in a press statement that preliminary interrogation revealed that Wardifen, who is #22 on the list, to be a Cameroonian citizen. He has been handed over to military intelligence for further investigation and possible prosecution.
“Visual matching with photographs on the poster of the 100 declared suspected Boko Haram terrorists wanted list released by the Nigerian [Army] last month, shows that he clearly resembles the suspect on serial number 22 on the list,” the statement said.

The army reiterated its call on all citizens and well-meaning residents of Nigeria to continue to be more vigilant and security conscious towards ridding the country of the menace of terrorism and insurgency.
