AUN releases official statement about Wizkid's issue

Well, apparently after the most i made about super start sensation wizkid and is in ability to om to the AUN  despite a mouth watering offer click here for that story,  lot of readers jumped on the story, it also caught the eye of the AUN authorities and they contacted me this morning with a clear story of what really transpired between the school and the singer.

Hello,
We would like to clear the air on the issue about Wiz Kid performing at AUN. We have been in negotiations with his management about him performing at our annual Homecoming concert. However due to a scheduling conflict he will not be able to make it at that time. We want to make it clear that contrary to what has been going round on the Internet this event has not happened yet, neither have we paid any money to Wiz Kid or his representatives. Any information saying he reneged on our agreement is wrong as we are still in the process of selecting an alternative date.
Many students were disappointed he could not make Homecoming and one person in expressing their disappointment made statements, which were picked up by social media sites, that are inaccurate and do not reflect our position on this issue. AUN does not have any quarrel with Wiz Kid and we look forward to welcoming him on our campus at a future date.
