The Nigerian Army 23rd Armoured brigade, Yola delegation visited Ngurore Town in Adamawa state to condole with the people and the parents of 5 young men who died on Sallah day in a tragic motor accident that left one of the victims heads decapitated and missing(see full story here). The delegation led by the brigade Commander COl. Aba Popoola who was represented by Lt. COl. Sajo said that human life is precious and the loss of these young people was tragic and unfortunate.
The representative of the victims said the youths of the area were angered by the death and even caused a blockade along the bridge in reaction to the deaths but were calmed by the district head and Liman of the area.
Normalcy has been restored to Ngurore and the families of the victims were duly compensated by the army.
