Photos: See Chief of Army Staff engage in exercise with Mubi Military troops



The Chief of Army Staff Major General Tukur Yusufu Buratai was in Mubi yesterday on a tour visit to the 28 Task Force Bridge of Mubi He arrived via helicopter and addressed the troops encouraging them to stay true to the defense of the nation He also presented medals of honour to the serving troops who fought bravely during the insurgency attacks around the area.

The troops led by the Chief of Army Staff himself and Mubi Brigade commander Brigadier General Ezeogwu chanted war songs and showed manly display of strength by engaging in several push exercises.

The Chief of Army staff then proceeded to the Emir’s Palace on a courtesy visit to thank the Monarch for hosting and cooperating with the Military forces based in Mubi and assured him of continuous peace and an assurance of meeting the December deadline for ending the insurgency as mandated by His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari.
