Photos: SGF visits Yola bomb blast victims, pays bill of all victims


The secretary to the Government of the Federation, Engr. Babachir David Lawal led a delegation from the presidency has conveyed a message of sympathy and condolence to the people of Adamawa State over the bomb blast which occurred yesterday.

The SGF was in company of Hon. M. T. Monguno a member of the House of representatives, Bukar Mohammed,  A federal permanent  secretary, Mallam Shehu Garba, Special Assistant to the president on media amongst others.

The 5 man delegation was received at the Yola international airport by the Governor, Mohammed Umaru Jibrilla, official of security outfits in the state, Some members of the state executive council and APC officials in the state.

The delegation headed for the Yola specialist hospital where the SGF sympathized with the victims of the bomb blast.
The delegation also visited the federal medical centre , Yola where they were received by the Principal Medical Officer of the FMC who took them round to see the victims of the blast.

Speaking to journalist, the SGF said he was in the state as head of the Federal Government Delegation and said the governments will assist anywhere possible and that the presidency his instructed the state government to ensure victims are treated free of charge. He further stated that further request for assistance should be communicated to the presidency for immediate action.

In his response. Governor of Adamawa state thanked the GF for his visit and the concern expressed by President Mohammed Buhari in responding promptly.
The delegation was also at the Lamido’s Palace to condole with him.
