Culled from Vanguard

Director General of National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Mallam Sani-Sidi, yesterday commiserated with the victims of Malkohi bomb blast currently receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre, Yola, with an assurance of tight security around all IDP camps across the region.
During a visit to the Malkohi camp, which came under attack last Friday, Sidi promised the displaced persons from Borno State that the Federal Government would ensure they were evacuated back to their state.

He said NEMA was working with security agencies to increase the presence of personnel around all IDP camps to ensure security of inhabitants.
Sidi noted that as a last resort, Boko Haram, would resort to guerilla warfare and bombing of soft targets, urging the inhabitants of the IDP camps across the region to be more vigilant and report suspicious movements and persons to the security operatives.
Earlier, Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, Mr. Martins Babale, said security agents needed to screen all IDPs deported by the Cameroonian government to avoid a recurrence of suicide attacks witnessed at Madagali Market and Malkohi IDPs camp.
The Commissioner of Information in the state, Mr. Ahmed Sajoh, said Governor Jibrilla Bindow would not relent in making the state safe for IDPs.
Sajoh said the state government would provide electricity across IDP camps in the state to enhance security of all the facilities in the camps.
