Wale Fwa has reacted bitterly to the recent appointment of Commissioners in Adamawa
state. The former Member and former Chairman House Committee on Women Affairs
who was present at the swearing in ceremony of the commissioners yesterday took
particular interest in the Appointment of a man into the office of commissioner
of women affairs in person of Aliyu Tola of Mayo Belwa. She took to her Facebook

"Man, Commissioner of Women Affairs! A very welcome development indeed!!! Perhaps a man, whom God has created to head a woman could handle the Ministry better. All these years , we have had women heading that Ministry and year in year out with budgetary allocations but zero release of funds hence non performance ...even the Women Development Centre that was built by the women of adamawa with their own sweat and resources has been taken over by the Court of Appeal which does not even hold their Sittings in d State....any memo from the Ministry is tagged women wahala possibly because its a woman that is presenting it and any bill in the parliament at all levels is being tagged same,all because the women in that Parliament would want to push for the bill to passed into Law..I remember sponsoring a bill that relates to women and children in the Assembly, it was thrown out at the stage of Third Reading, different interpretations were given to it just to justify it's being thrown out. We the Adamawa women welcome this idea of a man handling our affairs in the State. At least this time a man who is our father, husband, brother and son will be speaking on our behalf in the State..This time...no excuse!!! I wish there was Ministry of Men Affairs so that a woman will be appointed to be the Head, I bet you , all the men in Nigeria will protest. You want to know? SHE IS JUST BUT A WOMAN! There is God......"
Well the fact that a man was made Head of WOmen affairs is rather humorus i guess.
