Fuel Scarcity: DPR seals 8 filling stations in Adamawa, Taraba


The Department of Petroleum Products has sealed off eight filling stations in Adamawa and Taraba states.
Engr. Musa Sunday, Operation Controller in charge of Adamawa and Taraba states, made this known in Yola on Tuesday.
Sunday told our correspondent that the stiff measures was taken to control the persistent fuel scarcity in the state.

“As part of stiff measures to control the persistent fuel scarcity, eight filling stations were sealed off in Adamawa and Taraba States.
“The stations were sealed off after we found out that they were selling the product above official pump price and diversion” Sunday said.

He explained that, six of the sealed stations were in Adamawa State, while the other two are in Taraba State.
